Pacific Science Center hosts Community Forums on FOOD
Come talk about food, health, and community!
This April, the Pacific Science Center is hosting two community forums on FOOD. Lettuce Link will be on both panels.
Saturday, April 17, 1-3 pm
Garfield Community Center, 2323 E Cherry St
Call Garfield Community Center at 206.684.4788 to register children for educational activities (see below)
Saturday, April 24, 2-4 pm
Rainier Community Center, 4600 38th Ave South
Call Rainier Community Center at 206.386.1919 to register children for educational activities (see below)
From the Pacific Science Center:
Come to the community forum on food!
Free and open to all area residents, ages 18 and over
Guest panelists on hand to answer your questions
Light refreshments provided
Hosted by Pacific Science Center
Bring your kids!
Free educational activity, "Harvesting Science/Cosechando la Ciencia," for children (ages 5+) whose caregivers attend the forum.
Toddler play room open (unsupervised)
Call appropriate Community Center to register children for educational activities (see above).
