They all settled down for a long winter's nap...

Marra Farm is covered and cozy for the cold winter months. Many community volunteers hauled wheel barrows of leaves, mulched the beds, and spread cover crop this fall. Thank you!




Spreading mulch and cover crop feeds and protects soil over the winter, replenishing nutrients and preparing the garden for those tasty vegetables to be planted in the spring.


Over 16,300 pounds of produce from the Marra Farm Giving Garden was donated to the Providence Regina House Food Bank this season. Enjoy a peaceful winter, work at the farm will start up again in March.
