Where Should I Buy My Food? Free Community Science Forum

Come talk about food, health, and community!

Once again, the Pacific Science Center is hosting a community forum on food. Lettuce Link will be on the panel, along with several of our friends working in the food and gardening world.

Tuesday, July 13th, 6:30-8:30pm
Ackerly Family Gallery, Pacific Science Center
200 Second Ave N, Seattle (directions here)

Free and open to all area residents, ages 18 and over.
Call (206) 443-2896 or email forums@pacsi.org to register.

From the Pacific Science Center:
Where should we get our food? The choices are endless and many of us want to do the right thing, especially when it comes to our health and our family's health.   This discussion event encourages community members to weigh the pros and cons of getting their food from three different sources: supermarkets, restaurants/fast food chains, and farmer's markets/local gardens.  Participants will focus on the question, “What should be the balance of these three sources in my community?” Guest panelists will be on hand to answer your questions.
Event is free but pre-registration is required. Refreshments provided.
