We have a busy September on the horizon, and have some one-time volunteer opportunities coming up. Are you interested in helping us out? Minimal time commitment for you, but a big help for us!
Saturday, September 4th, 12-6pm: Blues for Food Festival at Magnuson Park.
Saturday, September 11th, 10am-5pm: Seattle Tilth Harvest Festival at the Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford
Volunteer for a two hour shift to collect produce for donation to local food banks and meal programs, and pass out information about Lettuce Link and volunteering. This is a great chance to learn more about Lettuce Link, and chat with a LL staff member who will also be there.
Saturday, September 18th, evening: Help with set-up or cleanup for Marra Farm movie night. Or just attend! We're showing The Garden.

Have another skill that you think might be useful? Let us know, and we'll see if we can put you to work! Opportunities exist for carpentry, data entry, translation, soliciting in-kind donations from garden stores/nurseries and more.
